I think if Nigel won't end his links with that prick Kia, then the club would consider selling him and although he's a top player who we all adore, I'd side with the club 100% no question.

If we continue to be able to keep the ball and pass around teams, then our reliance of him diminishes. I am by no means saying he ahs no future here as he will be needed for top games to break up the play as others have stipulated.

However, if you look at the top, top sides, they don't play a truly defensive midfielder. In Barca's case, Mascherano plays at centre back!

Our display at Spurs shows that we can beat most premier league teams by playing attacking, measured football. If we aren't playing well and out of form, then he will become a vital asset in preserving results.

I can see him playing against fluid sides, like the rags, Chelski and Arsenal, but for other teams, not sure he is "vital" to our success.

His attitude is superb and as long as that remains constant, I can see being an important member of our squad.
