I would just like to thank everyone who posted on this thread yesterday. The weather outside was crap & the cricket was a wash out till later. So I was sitting with the ipad glued to the Isco forum from 9 in the morning till 10 last night. It was hilarious.
If we don't end up getting Isco I'll be really disapointed but yesterday will soften the blow.
Best fans in the country. CTID.

Couldn't agree more. I have been getting to the point where I was not caring whether Isco signed or not. This thread must be one of the most entertaining in BlueMoon history, so I hope Isco delays it a few more days (not really!).

Someone posted at some stage that there has been a slight ripple on the Madrid thread over the Isco transfer. Isco only needs a quick glance here to appreciate how he would be idolised if he came to City. City fans are definitely the best in the world!

Skim it instead of throwing insults around.

All you have to do is search a few trusted users posts to get at the key info

I did come on at 10, and read the previous 10 pages. Not being funny but im not reading from where I left off last night, as I would never catch up and have got to go to work soon.

Looks like i missed the classic line on my post, i will edit it now for you.

It is compared to the madness of the last couple of days, but that wasn't sustainable, the world continues to turn.

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

City chief angry with Isco

Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly angry that Isco has performed a U-turn to snub Manchester City for Real Madrid to secure more money.

The new City boss was poised to welcome Isco to the Etihad Stadium this summer after reports in Spain suggested the highly-rated Spanish playmaker wanted to follow his former Malaga coach to the Premier League this summer.

Isco's reasoning for snubbing a chance to stay in Spain with Madrid was because he viewed Pellegrini as a father-figure and would have a better chance of regular first-team football at City in the build up to next summer's World Cup finals in Brazil. However, the situation appears to have changed over the weekend with Spanish publication El Confidencial reporting that Real Madrid have moved to offer Malaga 27 million euros and Isco a better deal to ensure he rejects a move to City and stays put in La Liga. And, as the player has previously stated that he wanted to get the best possible deal for cash-strapped Malaga, it appears that he will move to the Bernabeu in this transfer window.

It has led to an angry response from Pellegrini after City had worked hard to virtually tie up a deal for Isco. And with Real Madrid looking set to win the race for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, the Chilean tactician will now have to go back to the drawing board to find alternative targets with Liverpool hitman Luis Suarez linked on Sunday.
