Chelsea are stacked with even more attacking midfielders than we are with strikers. The LAST thing they need is Isco.Shooter 83 said:Danamy said:A lot of eyes are on him at the moment
Chelsea then?

Chelsea are desperate for him, we would love him but have four decent forwards already. Chelsea have Mata, Oscar and Hazard in the attacking midfield positions we have Silva and the unconvincing Nasri. Isco would get more game time at City IMO.Danamy said:Shooter 83 said:Danamy said:A lot of eyes are on him at the moment

All Chelsea's efforts are with Falcao at the moment

Which striker out of Dzeko, Balo and Tevez is most likely to go if we was to go for him? Your opinion of course.

Not that he was any great secret because those of this Forum were promoting his assets long before he became popular. Of course now every major team is looking at him which then diminishes our chances.
It's frustrating because there seems to have been a vacuum since Mike Rigg left to go to QPR earlier this year, and the consequence in my opinion was a disappointing summer transfer season.
While we continue to be a very good team, we are not a great team. I for one would have jumped at the prospect of Isco and perhaps one other quality midfielder, rather than what we ended up with. I hope that the new CEO will turn our transfer policy around.
