Offer some opinion as to why he's much better than those players? Bundesliga winner, PL winner and Europa league winner?

But that argument also becomes irrelevant doesn't it? You are talking about TEAMS, the fact is that TEAMS win leagues, cups etc, and the players you quoted have all played in more successful TEAMS than Malaga

He got 1 assist for the team that finished 4th and 9 goals. A good return, but in no way a remarkable one.

This whole fiasco is really exaggerating how good he is. We missed out on better players last year and the year before (bearing in mind Sanchez's form pre-Barca). We're losing a better player in a battle with Chelsea and Madrid. Two much better players have already signed for Bayern and Barca. We've arguably already signed two better players.

I like Isco but he's really not much better than Oscar or Nasri or Kagawa. Hazard, Silva, Mata leagues ahead.

Purely based on playing style and ability, and in Nasri's case, effort. He's only 21 and has massive potential. It was just easier to answer in a .gif :)

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

Mundo deportivo And superdeporte are reminding the Spanish football fans what isco said about Madrid a while back,he said "Madrid is an arrogant team and is a club I have never liked".

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

When you think about it the more time that goes by surely the better that it is for us.

If he has agreed a deal with Madrid there isnt a reason that he or Madrid wouldnt have said, we have an agreement in place.

There is obviously something happening as to why they cant do that.

Like us with Navas and also David Silva. They didnt sign straight away but both us and him said to the media it was done.

No quotes from him or Madrid so far......

in every part of that post you come over as a complete and utter fucking know all; you might preface some of your comments with "in your opinion". Just saying

Fair point, I don't mean to piss anyone off but I was hoping people could take any subjective post on this forum as the poster's opinion as it can't be anything else.

I agree with you that he isn't better than some of those players at present, but at 21, I think he has the potential to be considerably better than all of them bar Hazard, who can also go up a long way if he gets his shit together.

That's probably fair, I agree. Hazard has the potential to be up there with Gotze and Neymar as the best players of the generation.

Haha fair play. I do happen to really rate those 3 players and am wary of Isco's sudden rise to stardom.

No news yet is definitely good news.If RM had signed him they would be shouting it out from the rooftops

The attacking midfielder looks to be edging closer to a move to los Blancos though Manchester City remain in the hunt to sign the Spanish starlet

Malaga star Isco has further fueled speculation that he is on his way to Real Madrid as he has admitted to seeing the Santiago Bernabeu side as an exciting option.

The Spain Under-21 star revealed earlier this month that he has received offers from Madrid and Manchester City though his latest comments hint at a preference for the Primera Division giants.

"Real Madrid are a club that excites me. They are one of the best teams in the world," Isco was quoted as saying by AS.

Madrid are reportedly willing to pay €30 million for Isco, while also including Russia U-21 attacker Denis Cheryshev in the deal.

Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal, who played alongside Isco at La Rosaleda between 2011 to 2013, claimed at the weekend that the creative midfielder has already signed at Madrid and that it's a matter of time before the transfer is made official.

The 21-year-old has a contract with Malaga until the summer of 2016, but has a limited fee release clause of €35m.

MAdrid have matched the buy out - surely we have to.
If we value him at the buyout clause valuation then yes you're right, if Real have matched it then we need to as well, then it comes down to the financial package we can offer him, plus the players own willingness to join City ahead of Madrid.

However if the buyout value, similar to Cavani's, is deemed to be too high by City then I don't think we have to match it. Ultimately if the buyout is deemed to be too high a price to pay, then we move on to another target.

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

can we not post anymore of those crappy spanish articles, its clear that he hasnt signed for anyone yet and those articles are full of shit, not getting at anyone but think we should try and stick to uk media, todays news
