You can hardly say we've been getting close for years when this was our first final.Yes, the frustrating thing for me is we've been getting close for years, then the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea come along with a new manager and do it first time.
Exactly this. And we've broken records that others will never get near. Aguero beating Rooney's all time one-club scoring record on the last day was the icing on this season's cake for me. (Shame Derby weren't relegated on the same day but you can't have everything)All part of this fantastic ride! There will be disappointments to come but more glorious trophies. We aren’t entitled to win every trophy.

I'm still on the fence with Haaland. He does tend to have a few games where he's completely ineffective. A mate of mine is a Dortmund fan and he says a lot of fans wouldn't be bothered if he left so he can't be that good.Yep. Honestly, I think we need a replacement for Fernandinho. He doesn't have the pace now and has a tendency to get booked and I think that might have been on Pep's mind last night.

True, but I said last year I rate Tuchel very highly and would consider him as next manager. I also said after the FAC Cup defeat that I expected them to make the CL final and it would be a very tough game against a strong defence. He's done a fantastic job in just a few months there with a team that was going nowhere under Lampard, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're a serious threat next season
They will definitely be a challenge next season.

Mate i was the same and i often questioned whether id ever better that feeling ... and the truth is i dont think i ever willNothing will ever ever top 93:20. We were literally staring into the abyss. As disappointed as I feel right now, if that goal hadn't gone in I'd have been suicidal. That's how I'm trying to deal with it.

Agree totally about Fern, sentiment aside he’s not up to it anymore and like you say an early booking from that **** of a ref would’ve severely reduced Fern’s effectiveness for the rest of the game

Made even worse by losing to fucking Chelsea.
Everyone knows our whole focus for the last 10 years is to build to try to win the CL and in those 10 years we've now seen fucking Liverpool win it and fucking Chelsea win it twice. Christ, even Spurs got the final before we did. It hurts.
Maybe it's just me but had we lost to Real or Barca for example, it would not be quite so bad. At this rate, Leicester will win it before we do.
I feel the same. We’ve been the best team in the country for a few years barring one. Yet Chelsea and Liverpool have both lifted the European cup.
