News from wc: Pjanic wants Dzeko at Roma. This could happen... Perhaps opening for a cheap Benatia-deal, if thats so reports have said we are going to bid for Icardi. In that scenario.

We are flogging Negredo to Athletic Madrid, Jovetic on loan to Inter, Dzeko is of to Roma and we are getting Icardi for me that is a rum deal.

Nope but I would settle for Di Maria in for Negredo and Sanchez for Navas. Jovetic has yet to prove himself and I think this season he will be excellent.

Di maria is certainly a target for us and I wonder whether we are trying to raise funds for the 2? Chelsea signing Felipe luis as well makes them alot stronger as well unfortunately!

Absolutely not. It shows absolutely no confidence in a title winning team to go out and sign the players of the moment. Sends an awful message to the other players at the club. Plus, we'd be left with just Dzeko for the times that Kun gets his inevitable injuries.

Maybe in Football Manager world, but not in reality.

You and other blues are going to be seriously disappointed this summer with the level of player some are linking us with.

As for Chelsea, they took six points from us last season, how do they improve upon that.

And in the same equation, can we somehow improve upon four points dropped to Sunderland, plus losses to Villa, Cardiff and Liverpool?

I would suggest Chelsea would have to crash a record 96 points to beat us next season.

And people are seriously underestimating United with Van Gaal in charge and a motivated Van Persie, coupled with no European football.

Just as much a threat as Chelsea.

I tend to agree, but Chelsea dropped a lot of silly points last season too.

Van Persie may well be motivated, but I'm sceptical of his ability to stay fit for a full season.
