Southgate hasn’t just done what no other manager has on the pitch, he’s also changed the entire international team set up. No more cliques. Tireless hard work to ensure when they group up, it’s no longer a place where certain players take rank on the club scene. He’s created a club culture and it is obviously coming together.

You are not wrong, if you are creative, gifted and have some flair you are probably on the bench.

The player who stood out most for me was last night Declan Rice, some of his dribbling and touches were total class even if a few of his runs ended up with an over played ball. The kid has got guts; reminds me of Gareth Barry.

Let's look at the positives:
The FA got three more games than they expected, 2 of which were at Wembley so they made loads of dosh.
They got to the final so sold more tat than normal making even more money.
They don't have to sack Waistcoat so they have saved loads of money.
Yeh all in all a great tournament.

Very disappointing. Good first 20 mins, then Italy slowly gained control. By 60 mins there was only one team in lt. Pity that Phil was unavailable but changes should have been made at 45 mins. Grealish certainly should have come on earlier and Henderson too.. Rashford, Sancho out of form but there was no plan b, we were spectators waiting for the inevitable. We needed to be more offensive...maybe Harry move up and not drop off so much. Raz hardly got a kick when we needed him on the ball. Throwing Saka, still wet behind the ears, into that was poor.
