Italy v England | Thurs 23rd March 2023, 19:45

Won away in Italy. Hard to see any negatives to be honest.

Well done to Harry Kane too, a class act.

I agree with some of that but fact for me remains we go far too negative in big games when we score. It’s every time mate. None the less, great win and Kane, rice and stones outstanding. McGuire terrible as usual and nearly cost us

But even at 2-0 up we were bombing forward and missed an open goal.

Sometimes we forget that there’s an actual opposition with nothing to lose and have to go for the jugular, games go like that for all sides and you end up camped for a period of time.

Just finished watching that shite
good points, we beat the italians away no getting away from that its a great result.
John stones! what a game hes had, solid confident and the best bit telling mancini to fuck off card waving.
Kane worked hard and had his usual 8-10 game
bad points, that game apart from a 20 minute spell was awful.
like watching an end of season relegation 6 pointer. Mistakes everywhere
Slabby useless as usual
phillips terrible honestly what is wrong with this lad hes slow in every aspect in his game, has no awareness
saunters round the pitch like hes undroppable and generally a very poor player.
needs serious work or get rid.
Bellingham looked slow and uncomfortable, gave the ball away many times and another that looked slow as fuck.
Saka on the right did ok but tried everything on his own, selfish player believing his own hype.
Oh and the italians reverting to type diving feigning injury and persuading that weak as fuck ref to send shaw off.

That miss was before Sir Gazza had chance to get his half time team talk claws into them lol

This would be absolute comedy gold.

The West Ham thread would no doubt be filled with “he got the tactics spot on, the players just let him down” and “four more years!”

Having one of the most successful England managers for us Hammers would be a pretty good coup to be fair - still got faith in Moyesiah for the time being though. But one to note for sure.

Just saw that the England fan with that Maradona flag was also part of the group of Burnley fans who paid for a plane to fly over the Etihad with a "white lives matter" banner trailing behind it. Classy guy.

By-and-large a fair assessment.

Almost. ;-)
