Hopefully that means something is going to happen soon

It's been like that for a few days now, still no idea what it means.

Jack Bauer went dark - went incommunicado for a while.

Not actually gone anywhere, but appreciate the sentiment, all the same! Simply not posted for less than a day, as now on Wimbledon duty! Wasn't aware the night of the long knives had taken place again?
Damn that Rohm, he's no glass act!
Ah a distinguished member of the Royal Bavarian Regiment I believe!
Mmmm, I'm working on it...anagram maybe.

Any offers?

I think TH is just making a play on words rather than a transfer clue.

(The night of the long knives in 1934 was when Hitler had many political rivals (including Rohn the leader of SA) murdered and "kristallnacht" (Night of Broken Glass) was when Nazi SA stormtroopers broke Jewish shop windows in Germany 1938.)

In their latest story about Mandzukic being close to joining Bayern, Bild says we simply refused to drop our very high asking price of £32million for Dzeko which makes me think he isn't as unwanted as our media has made out. No one is going to pay that for him unless perhaps PSG declare their interest and even they might not pay that much, plus PSG seem to have other targets at the moment.

The question is if we're to sign RvP or Cavani then someone has got to go, will it be Tevez or could it even be Mario if we got an appropriate bid? AC chief Galliani is apparently "obsessed" with Mario but Milan are so cheap nowadays that they wouldn't pay what we want. There have been whispers in Italy that Juventus could be interested in him but Juventus are interested in everyone and never seem to put their money where their mouth is!

It's hard to see any of our strikers leaving at the moment yet the RvP/Cavani/Falcao stories don't go away. Tolmie? Someone?

I am looking into this a bit too much but why did Cavani tweet something in English for the first time? Ok it was something along the line I am enjoying my holiday with my family.

He tweeted the exact same line in Spanish beforehand, it was just translated.

I'd like us to sign Gerrard, class act
Hates utd and deserves a title
Better than barry
Its a long shot but if he wants to finish on a high......

Are you on crack? couldn't Finnish a full 90mins without ceasing up in the euros. so overrated its untrue. I'd have Barry over that wanker anyday

Not quite as bad as you say but I'd too would have Barry all day long, miles more consisant.

Fellaini would be great signing as he can play multiple positions and boss the midfield
