I would love it to happen, but I think anyone expecting Tevez and his pimp to shut their gobs and behave themselves for two whole years is being excessively optimistic

That is a very diplomatic way to put it. ;)

Not sure about that fella,if he was to move in this window which club would give him a three year contract or less and equal the terms he is on at City?

He can stay two more seasons on top dollar, run through brick walls knowing a hefty signing on fee awaits him on his return home.

perhaps him saying he is settled at City means just that.

i would keep dzeko,he gives us a completely different option when things need changing, think it is important to have a big target man in any squad.

if anybody was to be sold it would be tevez imo,not on ability thats for sure, but i wont forget or forgive the way he treated our club.and it wouldnt be for van pervert(cant fucking stand him),i would much prefer cavani.

Tolmie, I know you're busy but besides RVP is there anyone else we are after? If so are there any clues you can give? Hoping for clues on Martinez.

I have supported Edin throughout his stay at City however I have never rated himfrom what I have seen. 4 goals against Spurs - You cannot say he is class on the back of one performance.

His first touch was awful for the most of the season and he is pretty lightweight for a big guy. Now don't get me wrong,I would have loved him to succeed here however I just don't see it happening...Move him on and get a player who is more suited to our style of play - RVP.

Great bloke Edin is however does not match the way we play.

I think through the links in and out we can all see that the following have been identified as needing strengthening.

CB
CM
Wide player
A striker if Dzeko or Tevez go

RvP is clearly the striker
Hazard was the wide player, now alternative needed
Martinez is likely the CM
Not sure on the CB don't think we were ever really in for T Silva

Pedro for wide player,
Sahin for CM,
Martinez for CDM and CB,

All in my opinion but that's how I see it.

I hope City see things similarly. I've watched alot of all 3 and they woudl complete us. Not a single doubt in my mind.

Until Tevez pulls another one of his stunts and we crash out of another major competition and try to figure out what to do with him instead of focusing on winning the league while he plays golf. People just loooooove to talk about how he came back and helped right the ship. Of course, it's a ship he almost capsized single-handed. Why his twattish attitude even started infecting otherwise players with good attitudes like Dzeko.

Tevez... talented? You bet. Worth it? As long as you can trust him. Can you trust him? Not for long.
If Tevez doesn't move on in this window, he will go back to Argentina for peanuts next summer. He will be in exactly the same position RVP is in now, 12 months on his deal and no likelihood of signing another. The question is will Tevez give us more in 12 months than Edin could over three or four?
It's not a question of Tevez or Dzeko to me. If Dzeko is a poor fit, move him on and replace him. He is completely irrelevant to the Tevez situation.

What is completely relevant is that if Mike Dean had spotted Carlos's arm in Barton's face he would have been off and probably cost us the league; that and going missing for 6 months last season, and the regular moaning (about being tired, about wanting to leave, about hating Manchester, about wanting to retire) means 1 of the 2 is an emotional liability - never forget that his emotions nearly cost us against qpr
