If Marwood is at fault (only Mancini and the board will know), then I hope he's out the door wity Adebayor, RSC, Bridge, Kolo and Savic.

I'd quite like to see an approach for David Dein if he's not busy ;)

See United are pulling the plug on their New York stock float, same as they were forced to do in the Far East.

A cynic would suggest they knew they were going to take this course of action WELL BEFORE Comical Alex changed the habit of a lifetime by publicly stating his interest in Van Persie and Moura?

I wonder how this will impact their plan to spend £100m on players this summer.
Two lots of good news so far today, don't these things come in threes?

The big gun is well and truly out and following Silva's new deal, there is gonna be a lot of fucking blood spilt with regards our enemies.

Any chance you could expand Tolmie...Im intrigued re: blood spilt reference

Did TH ever comment on Neymar?

There are currently three world superstars in the game. Messi, the guy at Real Madrid and the Brazilian wonder kid. In fact some sports media company said Neymar is the most marketable sportsman in the world. Presumably because Brazil is such a populous country and their great footballers are a brand.

We appear to be taking the marketing side very seriously, hence Jackie Chan yesterday. What bigger statement than buying the next big thing in world football.

I might be wrong but I'm sure he called him another Robinho.

Pedro is what we need. He's better than Hazard, proven at Barca and Spain, can score for fun. Can be bought as not an integral Barca player. If he was our only purchase I'd still he happy.

What we have to realise is despite what is perceived as a lack of activity, City are committing themselves to the best part of £80m this summer on Komps and Silva before we even bring anybody else in.

That's the magnitude of where we are as a club these days.

I hope to read on my hols that Silva has followed his lead and couple more bombs have dropped.
Are u going on holiday tomorrow ;)

Already away, mate.

Yep Pedro is and outstanding talented player but just can't see Barcelona selling him..you'd have slap around 35m on the table for em to even blink

TH are you saying VK's resigning his contract was one of the predicted bombs?..

I hate to sound ungrateful but I expected bombs to be signings rather than contract extensions.

Looking for bombs in the shape of Pedro and Sahin. A CB is needed to replace Kolo and Savic (would sell both), RVP only needed if striker is outgoing. Pedro and Sahin are lusts and with the Euro weak against the Pound I say let's go!

What do you need to be grateful/ungrateful for towards me, I do not deliver anything which impacts our club?

I get asked a lot of questions in this thread over time, some of which was/is constant flapping over Mancini, Silva and Kompany.

To my knowledge, I have remained consistent and truthful that they would resign.

Bombs come in all shapes and sizes, call contract renewals hand grenades if you so wish.

The explosions are in the main, always incoming, so duck for cover as and when.

I'll take Tim Vickery's opinion over TH's with all due respect.

As far as Pedro is concerned good player, and would offer us something new, and wouldn't say no. But he's not a an automatic starter for club nor country.

Neymar however is THE Brazilian on planet football at the moment.

That's why both Real and Barca were desperate to get him. He may not be in Messi's league but he is a cut above the Pedro's of this world.

yes but Neymar is on incredible money in Brazil adn the club are not poor so would not need to sell a player who is also happy. Brazil is a rich country now. Neymar would cost near on £60 million i should think
