Anyway, back on subject, I've just taken a look through our transfer dealing from the last 3 seasons and one thing stands out.

We've brought in 1 (ONE) player for what I would call 'a bargain' and that was Gael Clichy. Other than that we have paid either market value (Yaya, Silva, Nasri, Aguero) or well above market value (everyone else) on every player.

Having a look at outgoing transfers, we've been pretty much screwed on every single outgoing transfer that we've done (the only ones that we have received significant fees for were Robinho & Boateng, and both of them were well below their market worth).

Now wages may have an influence on these two points, but it is clear that our negotiating team (whoever they may be) are pretty poor.

So then Mancini will have lost his battle with Marwood and will have someone to blame if things dont go well.

Marwood's got to pull something off that works for the benefit of the team.

If he doesnt then Khaldoon will feel he hasnt accomplished what is a primary function of his job.
