If we go far in comps city will have anything up to 66 games and some international teams have up to ten in this time so even with no injuries or suspensions with 4 top strikers we could offer them all 38 starts, chuck in sibs appearances and all would take part in 50 games+ which is probably more than ideal. The issue is not game time as such but the reaction of the players not picked in the really big games. If one got a bad injury then they would be playing too much. It is a fine balance.

It would be good to have fresh strikers in champs league and to not have to play the Argentinians straight off a 14 hour flight

Someone asked earlier if this thread has been a lot quieter since Tolmie has stopped posting. I for one don't come on as much now purely and simply because Tolm doesn't post his little you tube snippets.

Anyone on here suggesting Tevez still needs to be offloaded must be fucking cuckoo!
Cavani and Falcao may be great players, but neither are proven like Tevez in the Premier League. RVP is highly unlikely to have another season like the last one and comparing his injury record and goals scored to Carlos over several seasons; there's only one winner. Why would we spend so much money and take that chance given Tevez seems to have convincingly turned the corner?
If anyone, Dzeko is the one that must make way, and then, maybe not until January when he will have raised his profile and there will be some desperate teams out there.

Its not the mu,ber of games its the quality of games - they will all want to be involved n the CL and against the likes of rags / Chavs etc. Anyone dropped / rested for these games will know they are the second choice

Never quite got the emotion around ITK's on here. If you enjoy/value an 'ITKs' posts, great. If you don't, ignore them, jog on, and read the stuff you enjoy :)

VVK stated quite clearly and put his head on the line that Agger "would" 100% be a done deal by the end of play last Friday. TH NEVER said that anyone would sign by a set time or date-That, my friend is fact. Re Sinclair if you actually bothered to read TH'S post it said quite clearly "IF" he were to sign whereas VVK stated as a matter of fact that Agger "WOULD" have signed by the end of play last Friday. Fuck all hypocritical about that-I am stating facts. VVK started a new thread because he wanted to be an ITK, again fact. He was shown up to be a wum like many on here during this slow window. And who is pining for TH?? No I just liked his snippets that he posted which made the thread interesting as we go along through summer. VVK even asked to be banned if he was incorrect,therefore he knew fuck all about what he stated was going to happen.
