No doubt VP is a fantastic player, but please... let Real or any other club take him instead of us. For that kind of money I'm sure there are much better investments out there available. I mean, "the biggest pay day in football" sounds a bit over the top, considering how great of an attack we already have.
 
Bollocks to statements of intent, just sign the right players. Yes RVP is a top player who has had a fantastic season but he isn't worth the money
 
Tolmie if everything goes well do you think we would have solved
the issue of pace / width , also wouldnt martinez tick all the right boxes, age , versatility ( dm cb ) etc?
 
I could be wrong but I think Damocles is taking the piss, someone always mentions David Villa during transfer season.
