But I still think people are more convincing themselves £45m is good business to feel better about losing Gabby than it actually representing good business, especially in the current football market (even if he only has a year left on his contract).

How would everyone feel if Jesus and Sterling both went to Chelsea, there's talk of it happening but I would be surprised if it came off. Not the worst rival to go to, but I'd prefer them to go abroad if we were to sell?

Sort of reminds me of Kyle Walker. His technical quality is way below par but as long as there is exactly one of him on the pitch he's vital. Walker was nothing like a pep player, wasn't that young, has the touch of a donkey, was something like the most expensive fullback ever; and yet he's been a brilliant signing.

We play better football than anyone in the world and have for 5 years. Over 38 games it's made us the best English team ever by some distance. But In certain cup ties maybe Pep just wants a midfield Walker and doesn't give a good God damn what it costs.

Dembele will play in the RW. They could target Raz for that LW. As werner ziyech and lukaku are linked with a move
