Being a rag doesn’t help not that you’d overly tell by his reporting. I think the main thing that riled many was mocking pep about the media differences between us and Liverpool which are undoubtedly there. Wonder if Ake will be back up left back, presuming we sign CucurellaI don't get the debate...Cucurella was targeted months ago as a replacement for Mendy...Zinchenko decided to take Arsenal up on their offer this week...the fact that we haven't secured Cucurella doesn't then turn him into a "replacement" for Zinchenko...Zinchenko will now need to be replaced, not, however, by Cucurella but by someone else...it could be Raum...it could be Villa's Mitchell...it could be someone from the youth ranks like Wilson-Esbrand, but it has to be someone...some on here are saying Zinchenko is indispensable yet are arguing we don't need a 4th FB, which prior to Mendy's suspension that's exactly what Zin was...

I'm sure we have told Ake there will be more opportunities for him next season. He is decent at LB. That's why Pep played him there vs Atletico. If Ake stays fit, he will play plenty of minutes next season.
The idea that we are going to buy two LBs is based on wrong interpretations. Imo, it's nonsense.

That's some profit if he's going for 30m. I want him to stay, likeable kid and always gave his all, had a mistake or two in him but you'd take that as you know he's giving it 200%.

**Fairly even split as to if City will start the season with 3 specialist full backs or 4 but most reports suggest Cucurella is a Mendy replacement and Zinchenko will also be replaced if he leaves. No new Cucurella news today.

I’m pretty sure the deal is probably agreed and we’re waiting for them to get a replacement in.Interesting that we’ve left ourselves open to Brighton who now know we’re going to be even more short at left back than we have been already.
