Feel like ‘fullbacks’ who can’t cross- Ake, Stones, Laporte- are not playing to our prolific striker’s strengths very much.Surely Laporte can play that role just as well though?

Good decision to let him go. If his attitude became a huge problem after just one month on the bench despite being the defender with the most minutes in the team this season (and last year), that says a lot. It would only cause more problems to keep him here even if there is not enough time to sign a replacement this window. Lewis is better anyway.

There'd be beef, for sure. When there's a lot at steak, and the chips are down, things can get a bit saucy.
It's a real punch in the ribs, slap in the chops. But he hasn't de-liver-ed for a little while.
