Looked at our record without Rodri playing. In case if the worst did happen and he got injured.

We played 12 without him , won 6 and lost 6

In the Prem we played 4 games without him, we won once last season without him and lost three times.

Not the past, how proactive they are with signings. Using your logic, we spanked them the previous year, so we can agree the gap closed, as in we got worse. They are motoring on. Last summer was a shit show, Gvardiol aside. You could argue Doku, but Palmer would’ve been fine.
We need to sign two starters. No more squad fillers.

One starter would probably be enough, to add to Savio. We probably will get a starter. Talk of a chasm is way off.
