Last year of his contract, localish, proven goal scorer, would sit on the bench though?
Just don’t see him as a Pep player.

Same could be said for Bruno G, either Wharton or Rodri moving into an 8 with Phil or Kev would be good, 75 games this season.Eze could see happening but maybe Wharton (if we are interested) i8s wondering about game time etc?
They both tick the versatility boxes but I don't think Rodrygo chimes with the cost chat. We should just sign Kudus as he can play everywhere hah
Mateta could work out.We surely have the cash for the right player mate? Bruno G may have been valued by the club at £85m max but now with a huge profit on Alvarez then £90-100m on Rodrygo would be seen as a proper boots for the squad as hes better than Alvarez by some distance?

Don't think he is a proven goal scorer - he's had 2 seasons of over 10 goals. That's with playing consistently.

Those are his stats - last 2 seasons he has underperformed his expected goals by 4 and 6. You can only get away with missing that many good chances if you are scoring huge volumes as well. Don't think there's any indication that he wouldn't want decent money, and there's no evidence he'd be a good option off the bench. His passing is god awful as well. His only talent is winning headers.Hasn't he had a couple of injury plagued season before last year?
