That's the worrying thing. He's nowhere near good enough to be a first team player for us. Miles off our standard.

Then we probably wouldn't buy him for £100mill. Thing is I have posted mant time I don't see why we need him, difference is for me if Pep thinks we do and sees a player he can use I'm happy to admit there is a 99% plus chance he's right and I'm wrong .....again.

We did give someone like Zinchenko to have a chance and he did play for us for several season as squad player.

I dont think hes going this summer personally. I think he goes next. But some might just want to go while on top.

If we do a Rice/Phillips swap and Gundogan stays I don’t see why we’d be in for Kovacic too.

If Bernardo does leave them surely we’ll be looking at a more attacking player than Kovacic.

FWIW I like Kovacic but I don’t think there would be room for Rodri, Rice, Gundogan and Kovacic in the squad.
