It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Makes me so sad. Impossible to replace
Of course he is replacable.
This is probably one of the reasons he may actually leave.
Yaya, Kompany, Aguero, David Silva, Fernandinho were important players but Pep and his scoring staff have managed to win a treble without any of these.

He was not playing in a lot of games at one stage but got himself back in favour and, after some superb performances, failed to make the champions league first eleven.
This is the way Pep wanted to play that final.

Real shame Walker is off, was talk around a +1 year on his contract only a couple of months.
Clearly it’s Walker who wants out, new challenge mentioned although do wonder if perhaps it’s a total of a few things.

Either way he’s going, huge player for us over the years. Class.

When first heard he was off I was shocked but the more I think about it the more it makes sense. Pep clearly moving to a different type of full back.

Can't really complain after the season we've had but we shouldn't be doing Bayern any favours, this move should be blocked, or at least a replacement should be brought in before he leaves. We dont want another Zinchenko Cucurella situation.

Tbf that situation didn’t work out bad in the end.

City are clear, if a player wants to go and a club pays £, they go.

Looks like Pep is ditching the traditional fullback, in which case not sure we need to replace him. Lewis, Stones and Akanji can play that role.

Shiny new toy syndrome. Fans fear we will have missed out on Rice. We can’t buy everyone, no matter how good that player is.

If you look at it with cold hard facts. Phillips is trying to get game time against a world class player in Rodri. Stones has also made the dm/cb role his own. Injuries has also played a part. City bought him for a reason and although most might not think he is good enough, if he wants to fight for a place then so be it. If he can stay fit and start to deliver he may still come good. Lot of players have been written off but turned it around.
The thing is the fans thought said player was poor but pep didn't and played him.
Not tge same with Philips which is a worry for him. Not sure in that situation Philip's and us can risk another year.
Personally I rate him but I don't count
