It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Strange post.

My respect or disrespect is irrelevant.

The club has decisions to make over the squad for next season and these two are holding things up by fannying around.

If they are leaving fine, thanks for everything you’ve done and we move on. If they are staying then great. Just fucking decide.

Why? It's fucking June.

I've found the last couple of months exhausting as a fan, imagine how the players feel? Maybe they want a break with their families before deciding what to do with the next 3 years of their lives.

Or maybe, the decision has already been made and their player(s) & club are stage managing the next step together, either through a fond farewell or via a shiny new deal announcement.

The season is over, there's no obligation to keep us fans informed of every step. Chill, let it be.

Respecting players is just one aspect of the club that maintains our leading position in the game. Young players know that they will receive the best training, education and coaching, while world class stars know they will have to compete for a team at the top of the game, but that they will be well paid and cared for. That cannot stop the moment that they are making a decision on their future, just as it cannot when we want to make a decision on their's.

I'm in favor of selling Bernardo. No player is above the club. Sergio, David Silva, Vincent, Kevin are kind of players I want in my team. Every team in Europe wanted them, every summer they chased them, at least publicly after Sergio and David, and they never thought of leaving. Why should we give Bernardo a new contract? Every summer will be the same story.

He wants to leave? Go on, he will regret it in the future. In my opinion we should accept that he is leaving and simply maximize profits as quickly as possible and move on.

Hang on, Bernardo has decided about three years ago. It's in City's court now whether they accept any offers or not.

Gundo is clearly waiting to see if Barca can afford him and if not he'll stay here, but it's really not a big deal. We've got Kovacic coming in so will be fine either way.

Thats what the club is doing though mate? Bernardo and his team know what price allows him to leave and its up to them to bring that offer?

And if they don't, will you scream and scream until you're sick?

You're right, but in the previous years it didn't come to fruition because they couldn't get a team to pay for him the amounts we want, which should be a red flag for him as to how much the teams he wants to go to want him or can even financially afford him. But what I mean is, if there is no team that will pay cash let's make a trade. I would love to see De Jong from Barcelona here, if it's PSG, there's Hakimi, Mendes, Mbappe (if possible) Atlético? Bring Felix. Real Madrid? Valverde, Tchouameni.
Let's just end this saga.

thats the thing isnt it..... Other teams want our best players but we dont try and force the issue for theirs? Barca want Cancelo, Laporte and Bernardo? Ok, do a deal where we get Frenkie, Gavi?

But that's the point...no one is coughing up for him and he's still under contract.
