So you exhaust every point and argument that its easier for a player to sign for a club in summer as opposed to January and then you go and completely contradict your whole argument by saying something like this about Aguero which is simply not true.

Aguero didn't move mid season and hadn't the extra expectation to really click due to being wafer thin. You want mid season signings is my point.

The proofs in the pudding - if he was correct how could I, or anyone, question him.

If he says city are interested in X and X doesn't sign, that doesn't mean he was wrong about City being interested in X.

Michael Owen NEVER got 20 goals in a PL season. Any criticism of Aguero is at best misplaced and, at worst, massively disingenuous.

I'm well aware he didn't move mid season, but your point about him not adapting is not true and completely contradicts the other argument you made about the best time for a player to sign. Not sure you even realise it yourself.

No expectation? He was our record signing at the time.. how does that come with no 'added expectation'?
