I just want some rumours. A crumb please sir
Geezer called Sean who lives round the corner from me reckons he boned the bird who works in the chemists on New Year’s Eve.

It’s unlikely that we’ve done nothing, but dealing in January for top players isn’t easy.
The worst case scenario is that we don’t sign anyone. That seems unlikely, but we’ve got 4 weeks to see what can be done.
As ancoats said, any signing won’t be playing on Saturday and then if we can’t beat Salford with what we have then we are in trouble!
We could then focus on staying up though!
Completely true, but the board have put this on themselves. We are talking who can be got in Jan when it’s notoriously difficult.
I think you are correct! But one problem with that strategy is that our season could well be over in the later parts of this window unless we see some drastic improvement in performances before then. Might save us some money on transfers, but it might cost us the season. Waiting around for the best time to strike a deal is a luxury the club could afford when the team was doing fine either way. When the team has been playing like a relegation candidate for weeks/months, then its time to start prioritizing the squad getting results over making the best possible deal.Whilst I do believe we'll bring players in this month, our board will still operate in the same style. So it will be very quiet and there will be little suggestion we're looking actively at all. I'd imagine Pep says a lot about how happy he is with the squad and how much he trusts them this month, and says if there's value in the market maybe we'll look to bring players in.
We're not going knocking on day 1 as you're just playing into the hands of any club who might consider selling. £50m becomes £100m. Much better to put the feelers out quietly, pretend we're not particularly desperate and then see if any clubs get a bit twitchy later in the window and fancy boosting their finances.

Of Sean?Pics?
Not for me but each to their own ;)Of Sean?
I know it’s tough mate for top players, but we must have had plenty of agents punting people to us for months now, even short term loans just for extra bodies would be nice. It’s unlikely that we’ve done nothing, but dealing in January for top players isn’t easy.

Our run of horrific Prem fixtures starts from the 25th Jan against Chelsea, which is followed by Arse, Newc, Liverpool, Spurs, Forest, Brighton. Kiss good bye to top 4 if we don’t get at least a couple in by time this run starts, imo.Whilst I do believe we'll bring players in this month, our board will still operate in the same style. Do you think we are just getting round to it now?Not a case of being impatient, but we’ve had 3 months since Rodders to get our ducks in a row awaiting 1st Jan, I’d like to think we aren’t just getting round to it now.
