This transfer window for me will be the last time we probably overhaul the team, this is Txiki getting a firm grip on what he wants and where he sees the club heading.

From next season I see maybe one or two additions and a more focus on bringing the latest youth hotshots in.

Having come on here and put my cock on the block re navas, pellegrini and fernadinio I had a bit of an update again today.

Not major news but was told we want all our business done early - isco, navas, fernadinio, thiago, the Roma defender or pepe and the big one cavani. (they club want him just as much as us on here)

We have lots of back up plans and it's apparently a huge game of poker with agents and clubs but I am totally confident we could not have better people working on our behalf. Can't wait for the new season.

From this;

begovic in - pants out (wants 1st team football)
jenkinson in - arsenal
maicon - homesick wants out
pedro or sanchez or neymar - one of in
falcoe or canavari or suarez - one of in (we have approached suarez over 6 weeks ago)

I have been supporting City for nigh on over 40 years,and in that time have had to watch some serious dross. Used to go home and away no matter what and my faith or support has never diminished. Recently we have all witnessed the emergence of the best club side the world has ever seen (Barca) and in Spain the best national side (although the Brazil side of the early 70's might dispute that). If all our supposed targets come to fruition we could possibly have over a THIRD. of the Spanish side playing for US (Silva,Thiago,Isco and Navas) and still some people are "unhappy" that we "might" have "overpaid" for Fernandinho. Me? I absolutely love it. We are truly both lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful owner backed up by a seriously talented senior management team. I have no doubts at all that no matter what else happens this summer, the club will deliver.

Who would have thought it eh? Little old City!
