I haven't changed my stance we need to lose a player for someone to come in, Maicon has said he is staying, I just hope he has been told won't be in CL squad if he stays and that persuades him to accept he is going. Alternatively his stance may be so he gets his bonus I would pay the bugger off just to get rid. Half expecting same to be said to Sinclair and Kolorov. Watching vids they don't seem to be happy.

Roma wanted City to loan him there for the last year of the contract and pay a chunk of his wages. Depends on what % that would be to know if it was worth it. If we paid like 80% of his wages, we may as well keep him as backup (or try and find another buyer). 20% and it's worth considering.

Unless Pelle can improve him so he becomes worth keeping as a midfielder,or play him in another system. He played well vs Chelsea.
