Find that hard to believe. Not a chance we chose to target Carvalho instead of this guy. If he's said no that doesn't mean we never wanted him. He's been mentioned by ITKs all summer.

The talk yesterday was we wont be buying in the midfield position in this window, and are probably happy with yaya, Gundogan, Garcia and Delph for now, with an eye on getting Weigl next year.
