Since when have City communicated about ongoing negotiations.

We are lucky if we get anything from them in fact Mr K. says our Academy is providing 1 or 2 players each year who will fight for PL places yet Pep is obviously filling those places with bought players.

I´m afraid we must rely on the very few trusted ITK´s who are allowed to leak rather than steal snippets of information. Thank you TH.

It would be a mega mistake letting Aguero go for Sanchez (who's not a patch on him in my opinion) and a semi unproven kid.
 
So there seems to be a genuine chance of Alexis, Mbappe and a CB.... There might be financial room if we sell Mangala, Nasri, Kelechi, Bony, Kun, Denayer, Fernando, Delph and Otamendi.....

The most important thing is that City sign have the best players, and I really disagree with your comment about Mbappe. Ask City's defenders if Mbappe is a semi-unproven kid. It was not one game. He has done it over a season against all the best. The one disappointing game he had was against Juventus. Trust your judgement

if we get both sanchez and mbappe, that should send a message to him tbh. Even last year when was him or jesus, pep picked jesus. If Pep really wants these two so much to convince City to spend 200m on them, then Aguero is not priority to him. At least, not close to what he is to City fans.

Those two and it's either the end for Kun or phasing him out for next summer move.

The fact is that he is 18 and at that age he is potential to spend two full contracts here. That means no buying new striker and paying fee that could be 150m for regular striker in 5 years so he doesn't really need to be messi level, he could score 15 goals per season and still be success.

I watched him twice so I really don't have idea if he is close to be worth 150m right now but considering that half of the Europe is crazy about him and that it looks like he'd go for 100m in an hour, I guess all those experts see something special in him.
 
I wonder how much Sergio would cost? Thinking of putting in a bid meself. We could have a kickabout together down the park, go on long walks and eat sushi.

Or drink vodka in our dressing gowns and see what develops!
 
If we sign both Sanchez & Mbappe, it isn't just Aguero who has to accept a lesser role, it's all of them.

And seeing as Jesus & Sanchez play a lot of their football in positions other than striker, & we have also signed Bernardo Silva who can play a similar position, & Aguero has just scored 30 goals, the wide players should be equally peeved imo.

Can people seriously see Mbappe as a lone striker with his back to goal against Robert Huth & co with a parked bus & no protection from the ref in January ? It's not going to happen. He will keep losing the ball. You wnt him running ag people or behind, like Henry. You play Aguero central or Jesus there. Most likely Aguero.

If there is a chance of him going then why did Khaldoon state he's staying in a club edited interview?

I know what our situation will be but why would we decide on a player who is currently valued at 70m? He is either going to be worth more next summer, or he will be worth less. If he's worth even more, it's unlikely that we would touch him, as his current asking price isn't close to being 'value for money'. If he's worth less it will probably be because he's had a less impressive season, which will surely mean he isn't good enough for us. Like I said, makes no sense.

I think if we get either or both, we'll be 3 at the back all season to accomodate them all as best we can.
