It's Quiet - a new dawn

For all their latte drinking hangers-on, Arsenal are still a very classy club with old skool money, they can certainly make a persuasive argument to Sanchez.

I'm pretty confident the groundwork will see us land Sanchez.

All the same, Wenger is a belligerent sod, and he deserves more respect than some or the Arsenal fans have extended towards him.
As you well know bud, Arsenals wage structure is also made up with bonuses but ours eclipses theirs, at the age of 28 he'll want to play at the top level whilst he's at his peak, add into that the Pep factor and all the ingredients are there for this to happen, he's on the hook but not quite in the net.

Is that the part where he described uniteds' style of football as "pure wank"? I'm really looking forward to that, after the watershed, obviously.
Was it 'Pure wank?'
I thought he said 'Proper wank' his manchester accent is coming on as well. Top banana is our Khaldoon.

Surely they have been trying to make that argument for most of the season though

The Chairman is saying he is not going to actively sell Aguero. But if Aguero wants to leave he is not going to stop him. So, now if Aguero wants to leave he has to force a move (something we certainly won't stand in the way of) so the Chairman and Pep and the Club can't be blamed for pushing Aguero out. That is what he said.

He didn't say that at all......he said the opposite to someone posters drool over.....that poster then posts sanchez has asked to leave Arsenal...which diverts attention away from the Aguero guess....very clever and equally hilarious at the same time ;)

Aww don't start being doubtful now

I've got £20 on it @11/2.
He's 3/1 now on skybet.

And I've done my usual £5 on Messi joining @ 25/1 :-) I live in hope.

And £1 on us to do the quadruple @ 500/1.

I think he did say that but then I don't take what he says literally because I am not a fucking idiot.

I'm not really getting that from his interview. Is there some context I'm missing?

Q: "Will Sergio Aguero be at Manchester City next season?"

A: "Absolutely. There has never been a doubt about that."

Sounds like a rock-solid guarantee.

You have been pushing this for months, time to give it up

All of these players that "want to play for Pep", what do they do when Pep decides he's retiring?

Are they gonna stick around to actually "want to play for Manchester City"?

We'll be a bit threadbare if they no longer do!
