Who are our current/likely foreign players? I can think of:-

Ederson
Bravo
Danilo
Mendy
Kompany
Otamendi
Fernandinho
Yaya
Gundogan
KDB
Silva D
Silva B
Sane
Aguero
Gabriel Jesus

Is that 15 or did I miss any? Allowed 17, which could be striker and CB? Sanchez and VVD would do me

I hope Pep takes a really good look at the Mangler before deciding to get rid.

If Pep sees he just can't use him, & we have a quality replacement cb coming in, or someone at the club steps up & is better, fair enough.

If we can get good money for him, & Pep isn't quite sure about him, fair enough, but only if we can get a good deal. Otherwise keep him & work with him, rather than just dumping him for nothing.
Covering CB and LB would indeed be useful but I reckon his poor distribution would rule him out for Pep

Looks right to me. Sanchez and VVD is the dream for us from here. More chance of Mangala filling a spot than VVD I feel.

Maybe, but he hasn't had an opportunity to find out. He showed v the rags that he can do a basic passing job & as we saw yet again v Utd, the player most likely to come up with a dodgy bit of control or decision, is John Stones.

So we've brought in

Ederson
Walker
Danilo
Mendy (soon to be confirmed)
Silva

Wonder what we'll go for now assuming its gonna be a CB and attacker then we're probably done

Would be such a shame to piss off spurs and dippers

And everyone else.

The rags are continually pushing up transfer fees & we get the blame for it, so imo, if we get all our business done & have finances, ruin the transfer market by stumping up a fortune for VVD.

Then spen 150 mil on a striker or centre mid next season & say 'up yours' to the fucking lot of them.

There are games/players you need a mangler big fast strong against the likes of ibra and Costa etc

I don't think his problem is actually ability, I think it was his decision making & fuckups due to nerves, rather than lack of skill.

That's what he needs to overcome imo & Stones has exactly the same task ahead of him.

Agree. There's still time for them both to fulfill their potentials and I think they both will. Whether that'll be with us we'll find out I guess.

You won't find me arguing

As i thought the PSG aggression driven by the Qatar crisis . From sammy lee below

City insiders believe PSG’s efforts to sign Alves and Alexis, as well as their pursuit of Neymar, have been born out of the diplomatic crisis in Qatar.

Several countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, cut off diplomatic relations with Qatar in June over alleged support for terrorism.

City believe PSG’s Qatari owners have moved for some of the Blues’ targets as an act of retaliation, given the Premier League side are backed by Abu Dhabi.

I don't think pep needs more than one pre season to be able to make up his mind as to whether he can make something out of a player

BS imo. Easy bandwagon to get some attention.

Agree with this.
