In that case no bid is needed , we negotiate and agree a deal. So the fact there has been no bid doesn’t mean the deal isn’t almost done. Both those saying it’s nearly done and those saying there’s been no bid can be right.

Agreed mate but how many generally tend to make it to the top level from their respective academies , I don’t really follow the youth stuff these days , but I’d hazard not many at all ?

I do wonder why no one else is after him....rate him highly so it seems a bit odd that no other team anywhere are after him. Dont both Chelsea and Arsenal need centre halves to name but two?
