Can see Messi's video to the fans going out tonight.

He can't leave it now with training tomorrow.

Do you have any idea of the angle of the video?

As in, is it a message explaining his take on things, or is it a 'goodbye' message which would be in keeping with his legal standpoint, that he's no longer a Barca player? Interesting to see what approach he would go with!

Pretty sure he will have filmed at least a couple, depending on which way it all went.

No surprises we can now expect to see the ”nuclear” version.

There is one potential problem with La Liga statement:

If the existence of a release clause affects the cost to the player of buying out his contract. I wouldn't have thought it would do, but I don't know.

Regardless Barcelona are still faced with a player approaching the end of his contract who is unhappy. Its a critical situation and red tape doesn't resolve the players dispute. It can only be resolved by talking to him and presenting him with options that he finds satisfactory. barca's management may not like being railroaded into decisions but its a consequence of transfer and coaching failings that have to be addressed

Ah yeah, good point, TH did say something about there being different versions filmed, I forgot about that... Popcorn at the ready!
