Not necessarily the same targets but yeah, the positions will definitely be addressed one way or anotherPep will get what Pep wants.

Plus, didn't we make about £60m from reaching the CL final this year?We also have £10m ish from the Sancho clause. Easy to see how Kane and Grealish is affordable for us. £100m from selling players that have never played for us. £10m from a transaction that didn’t involve us. And that’s before getting to the inevitable sale or two from the senior squad.
10m is a great deal, I think he only had one year left, hopefully we have a buy back or sell on clause.£10m for Nmecha seems like peanuts given how well he did for Germany at the under-21 Euros.
I think it would be worth keeping him until we are certain of securing our striker target.
I would hate to see us not being able to secure Kane or Haaland and paying over the odds for an average striker just to pad out the squad numbers and then watch Nmecha score a hatful for his new team.
I do not think he will ever reach the elite level needed to replace Kun but he might be able to do a similar job to what Tammy Abraham did for Chelsea in the 19/20 season (15 goals and 4 assists in 34 games).
If the club felt it was worth keeping Garcia around last season rather than accepting a fee from Barcelona for him then a similar case could be made for keeping Nmecha.
If Grealish is looking for crazy wages, forget it and let him stay at Villa.I think the British media have conditioned us to think that these are mission impossible deals. They're not. They're commercial transactions, and regardless of the Levy LoveFest at the Athletic and down in London, there will be a commercial tipping point for him where he'll simply have to sell. In my opinion of course. I also think that were this deal dead, were it simply a case of him not being for sale, we would know that and City would've moved on.
On Grealish, contrary to what Sam has written, I was told a couple of days ago City have got cold feet. Lets see what transpires as it could all be about money, and people positioning themselves. Maybe Grealish is asking for KDB money and City have decided to pull back a little, and maybe his camp's reaction to that is to begin to leak that he'll sign a new deal at Villa.
Just opinion mate,City will go all out for the players Pep asks for.Not necessarily the same targets but yeah, the positions will definitely be addressed one way or another
Players want the move and despite public denial, the clubs need cash. What I don’t get is city’s confidence of getting two seemingly difficult transfers over the line.
Yet again, Pep has asked for players in the past, re; Maguire, Jorginho and deals have not worked out. But as I said, the positions were still addressed, it's not just plan A and only plan A is it. That's what I was saying. The alternatives will also be players we get if Pep wants them initJust opinion mate,City will go all out for the players Pep asks for.
You wouldn't let your Ferrari go to buy skoda, would you.
£100 m is not coming exclusively from those who haven't played for us. It will come from those who have. I don't know whether that figure has Sane sale amount or not.We also have £10m ish from the Sancho clause. People keep forgetting the state of Spurs especially after COVID, Levy practically did a we're fucked interview post season to put it out there.Players want the move and despite public denial, the clubs need cash.
There's probably very few players who would turn us down, imo. What I don’t get is city’s confidence of getting two seemingly difficult transfers over the line.
