I detest the fake Ronaldo with every fibre of my being.Apart from Pele who never played in Europe, the six greatest players are Maradona, Ronaldo, Ronaldo, Cruyff and Messi
4 played for Barca, 2 for Madrid.
It's about time we had a player of this stature.
He is a c.... though
There is a 500 page thread in the other forum complaining about tickets on a mobile phone, lol.I think the past 18 months has made the entire forum much more negative and angry. Im sure I see a lot more spats and personal arguments.
The mood around the forum feels incredibly aggravated and it seems like the negative of losing has overtaken the joy of winning by quite some distance, let alone the joy of watching football regardless of result.
We are supposed to despise almost evey other club in the league, and UEFA, and The FA, and The Premier League and The referees and Sky/BT and the media.
Not to mention the club itself is to be hated - or at least the supporter services, Vicky Kloss and the PR team, the transfer group, the social media team and an increasing list of players.
Not displaying an appropriate amount of vitriol for the above is grounds to be told how much of a **** you are, and probably get called a rag. Its bloody exhausting and I think its effecting a lot more than just me.
As soon as the transfer business is concluded I plan on taking a long break from here and seeing if it resets something.
Hopefully people will lighten up as the pandemic eases.
What I struggle to deal with most is the purpose of being a fan. Moments after a loss, the entire forum is filled with comments like "Pep's arrogance is back, he can't put aside his ego", "I just don't understand why we didn't play the best XI, even though half the squad has trained together for the first time 2 days before the match", "this 20 yr old bought for 20 mil, playing out of position is a fraud", etc.
Like if as a fan you're not even attempting to rationalize the decisions taken by the club manager and especially someone as decorated as Pep, someone genuinely loves the club and goes to war with the media every week trying to defend us, then what is the point?
If you, as a fan, are not willing to be empathetic towards players who have won so many trophies for us, brought so much joy, who give their 100% nearly every match, then who else is gonna do it? Rival supporters? The media?
I don't get the fan vs the club mentality at all. As if as a fan, I'm entitled to perfect performances every week and everyone at the club is slave to my demands. As if every mistake is a personal humiliation and all the cuplrits should flogged in the market square. Because the threads after a loss really feel like that. I look at other clubs filled to the brim with players who are absolute disrespectful hacks and I feel blessed that we've such a great squad. I learned yesterday that an Arsenal player (Torreira) was posting selfies from Disneyworld or some shite while they're losing 2-0 to Brentford. Can you imagine Bernardo doing something like that?
And I'm not referring to legit criticism of players' performances because that's warranted sometimes. Maybe Sterling or Jesus or Torres or whoever hasn't performed well so people might have opinions on that. It's all good as long as it's coming from a place of good intention and there's an actual attempt at expressing their opinion. But the hate, anger and outrage that I see - it's incomprehensible.
Kevin is a wonderful player. The best midfielder in the PL era. And way better than Ronaldo and Messi are now.I detest the fake Ronaldo with every fibre of my being.

Maybe we do. KDB is fucking awesome. If he stays injury free and plays the way he did in his cameo versus Spurs, he might well contend for the Balon D'ior. Regardless, an on-form KDB is word best IMO.
It’s ok, but it’s too long imho. Last two sentences get to the heart of what the poster is trying to convey.Cracking post this.
Pretty goddamn sure Kun could have do so too.We just need a guy who can finish all our wonderful football. And this 36 year old could do that for us.
