I would prefer Harry Kane. 4 or 5 years younger and guaranteed to score 30+ goals a season. Genuinely don’t understand how or why some people seem to have an issue with City signing one of the top 3 number 9’s in the world.

Lewandowski at 32 has scores 40 goals in the Bundesliga alone this season. Would cost significantly less. He isn’t stopping anytime soon. Less physical issues. This is just a comparison between these two players

Def worth it just to keep him away from Chelski. Only challengers imo.
 
Won’t be popular on here but just doesn’t sit right with me this Messi stuff, it’s like he enjoys the attention and Barcelona begging him stay etc. All these exclusive interviews etc, complaining Barcelona aren’t competing for trophies yet is seemingly happy for this charade to be going on in the background etc.

Yes he is the best player in the world but for him to demanding such a wage when he is already on a ludicrous amount of money in the midst of a pandemic which has further crippled the club he purports to love? It doesn’t sit right with me personally and makes me question his motives

Barcelona and Messi have been very good for each other they have both helped the other achieve huge success on the pitch as well as off it. I don’t like the way he is now treating the club he ‘loves’ and I won’t lie it concerns me what he would do to us if he was to arrive.

You see stories about Messi demanding Barcelona sign various players, many times I’ve seen him sulk round the pitch (most notably away to Liverpool when they lost the 3 goal lead). I don’t want that type of player at city he would bring a circus with him that I don’t think justifies the output. We are in champions league final and premier league champions largely down to our fantastic defensive performances. I worry messi would upset both the balance on the pitch and in the dressing room (assuming his ego can fit through the door)

would prefer Kane he is a top professional hungry for success and would not demand a crazy wage. (Runs away)

Once we get this trophy on the 29th and we’re just having fun and boiling piss for life. If we don’t, we’re still doing the same! Just check the Harry Kane poll! More than not would have us not sign him and I’m one! CTID

This is wrong from the first to the last sentence, but what’s more astonishing is you making these assumptions about an interview that has yet to be released. He is speaking to Argentina. He will play the Copa America IN ARGENTINA in June. Has it crossed your mind that that’s the focus of the interview?
 
Messi looked fed up in the last barca game, he's gone down saying he wants another champions league before he retires, Barca are miles away from that he's 34 this year this is a massive decision for him. Can see why he's taking so long to decide. But if he wants trophies and to challenge for the champions league City is really his only option, we are built to win PSG don't have a strong mentality.
