We're not the ones being paid to think.

Seriously, I'm gonna start taking names if this fucking whimpering sickness continues on here.

It's pathetic, certainly not befitting of a club that has plenty of fans still who have faced down more shit than most.

I'm hurt. I'm so angry, I'm livid. Oh, woe is me.

Do me a fucking favour, you self entitled fucktards.

We are the Champions of England, the window ain't shut, and we have people right now still trying to deliver.

Personally I’m just annoyed we got involved with the Ronaldo pantomime after believing Kane’s bunch of muppets had a clue what they were doing.

I think there’s an air of an inferiority complex amongst our fan base and I wonder sometimes even amongst the higher ups. We seem almost embarrassed by our wealth, afraid to make galactico signings. Sometimes, especially for strikers, you have to bite the bullet.

We need to remember we’re at the top tier of European football. There are a limited number of players good enough to play for us. That means we are going to have competition, so if we want world class players, there’s going to be a premium. We have to accept that we need to pay those prices.

Unless we accept that we’ll have the same issue in the next transfer windows. Every club will see us coming, desperate for a forward. Whoever we get in will be very expensive.

Mendes played a blinder for Ronaldo. I fully believe that had City not been at the table, neither would United. United would have quite happily let him go any club in Europe but to City.

With that in mind, City should really be questioning dealing with Mendes in future.
Our gullible mob acting just like the frog who believed the scorpion was really his new best mate and wouldn’t sting him because he promised…

Spot on Tolm. These last few weeks have shown a type of supporter that you wouldn't want to rely on in a crisis.

Not necessarily. Just saw a video of Rio where he admits to calling Ronaldo and telling all kind of "No"s to the City transfer. Pep says in press that it is Ronaldo's decision. It could be that Ronaldo was pressured into changing his decision by all his United mates and Mendes is not to be blamed.

Do you actively know they are working on something specific — and what that would be (no need to say it)?

I would love it if we got the last laugh

Told we still have other targets.

They did brief the other day that Vlahovic was not a target, but landscape is changing all the time.

Call to arms - nice post TH.

No there's an air of entitled soft wankers around this board , fuck me bring swales!

Tolm seems to be a guy who has a certain amount of inside information and normally gives a good indication of how our transfers are likely to pan out. I am not sure however, if he is any more reliable in the final analysis than someone with a bit of common sense and a keen ear to the ground as to what is going on.

You mean like a journalist ;)

United don’t need Ronaldo. They have enough attackers.

Yes, he improves their team and squad. And he would have done that at City.

But, United have gone in for Ronaldo(at the last minute) to stop City buying him.

They’ve blown us out of the water again with a better offer. And an opportunity to play for the Rags again. No wonder Ole was full of confidence at his press conference, while Pep looked irked.
So?

Can’t say I’ve enjoyed this transfer window. In spite of pep saying the current squad is all he needs and it’s great yada yada it’s what he has to say. And when your nearest rivals which is Chelsea these days have improved significantly we needed to do the same and this lack of a striker thing has become a bit of an albatross. We’ve overpaid for Grealish albeit I do think he’s going to be a really good player for us, the kane saga was just pathetic and now the Ronaldo thing also makes us look stupid. Much prefer our normal way of doing business quietly identify who we want and get the job done quickly in the way that we got Ruben Dias. Maybe will pull something out of the bag in the next couple of days but I can’t see it and I can’t see who. Wanted mendy dropped but not in the embarrassing way it has. Hope we smash Arsenal!

The bedwetters are out in force. It’s the same every window, every defeat even every 2-1 win and it’s getting tedious.
Forum is great laugh most of the time and there is undoubtedly more good than bad but Christ, they don’t half bring the place down sometimes. As you said, Champions of England and 2 games from winning every prize on offer but to read this you’d swear last Saturday was a relegation six pointer….
I’m not a knee jerk fan by any stretch and was surprised the amount of fannys who needed to tuck their flaps back in their knickers after the spurs result but there is absolutely no denying that whoever is in charge of player acquisition has failed this summer.

No good hiding behind the fact we’re champions of England. You have to strengthen season after season and it’s criminal we don’t have a striker at this stage
