I could see them trying something like that actually. He's a top player and it'd be a good opportunity for United to massively overpay just to get one over on us. Although I'm fairly sure Grealish would only go to City if he left Villa; I'm not convinced any other club has the means to convince him of changing like we could.


If they tried it with Kane however it might work. He's like Sanchez was, desperate (apparently) enough to leave that he's not too picky about the destination, within reason.

It's all about opinions. His price is inflated because he's English.
I think it interesting that no foreign clubs seem to be showing any interest in him, and Chelsea appear to have cooled...
I think that's because it's a done deal to go to City. Just the price to sort out.
