I wasn't bothered when we were linked with Barry but what a cracking player he turned out to be. They were very bitter when he signed for us though.

If Grealish is anywhere as good as Barry , he will be a great signing.

Barry the most underrated player since the takeover, absolute class player.

I know he's a local lad but Gareth Barry was their best player for the best part of a decade, 12 years service in total.
Barry also had Villa at higher heights than Grealish.
That's a lot of credit in the bank.

I mean he has a choice really. Be the next Gareth Barry or the next Gabriel Agbonlahor. Obviously Jack's potential outstrips both examples but Gareth took the chance and moved for silverware and Agbonlahor stuck it out for nothing
