Jack Grealish

I’m not surprised, he must be looking at that LW spot thinking it’s there for the taking! I could see Foden moving more central into Gundogans role this year.

Striker, Mahrez, Grealish, KDB, Foden & Rodri is a great front 6 if it can find enough balance.
Oh yes :-)

He isn't a generational player
I haven't a clue what that means. We know you don’t rate Grealish. That’s fine.

Your claim that Villa deem Cantwell as the same level as Grealish is a poor argument.

Look where Villa were before Grealish got injured and then look at the form they have produced since he got injured. It wouldn’t surprise me if their form since was relegation material.

Grealish makes a relegation fodder team a top half side. On his own.

He would excel here under Pep. IMHO.

It means he isn't an outstanding talent unlike our very own Phil Foden. He is similar to what Harry Kane is to Spurs. Looks good in their set up but will not be an asset anywhere else. Ross Barkley was another one meant to be billed as a top talent.

Grealish flatters to decieve and that is a problem
How many “generational talents“ have City ever bought?

I disagree that he flatters to deceive. Look at what he does to the Villa side. He makes relegation fodder a top half side. What’s that in points? 15-20. On his own.

I see him as a hybrid between David Silva and Mahrez. Obviously not as good as the former, but probably similar to the latter.

He can play in multiple positions and help retain the ball when we need to shut a game down and create when we need to score.

Not to mention that he’s been far a more consistent performer than Sterling this season.

He’s miles better than Torres.

There is definitely space in our squad for him if we want him.

Cantwell is fucking shite. Despite his looks, he wouldn’t even get into our womens team

People said the same about Grealish last season. Annoying hipster personality, but in terms of talent he’ll be a dark horse for the England squad for the World Cup.

Mahrez won the league (integral part of that side) for Leicester and didn't look out of place when playing in the Champions League the following season, and on top of that he was outstanding in Leicester's 4-2 win against us in Pep's first season in charge. Grealish had a very quiet couple of games in both Villa's games against us in both the Carabao Cup final and the home fixture this season (they had earlier claims of winning the league at that point). Bernardo Silva was outstanding in both games against us whilst playing for Monaco and help them to knock us out of the Champions League in that season. Grealish doesn't look close to matching both.
