Jack Grealish

Er no. He crashed his Range whilst drunk during the first lockdown.

He also gave me the biggest laugh of the season THIS season when I found his name trending, clicked on it, and saw the pictures.

He needs to be far more professional if he wants to join City. Talent alone doesn't get you here.

Wait til you find out what a certain Kyle Walker got up to During lockdown 1..

Will play every game, London will appeal. He isn't gonna go to utd, chelsea, liverpool, madrid, barca, dortmund, bayern, psg.

It's a good move for him and Spurs.
Fair point but I think he needs the allure of CL football. We’ll wait and see I guess. An exciting summer ahead.

Fair enough, I was thinking of the incident a few years ago which made the media. However, during lockdown Kyle Walker and Phil Foden both had indiscretions that have been forgiven. Like many others of similar age Grealish has made mistakes, it doesn't make him the devil incarnate, he'd be a brilliant signing IMHO.

The very fact you have to ask which 'incident' and have mistaken last year's drunk driving for one from a different year, should tell you that he has issues with his character. I've got no doubt he's talented, but please, lets not act like his personal life will not be factored into any deal. I'm not trying to over-inflate it's importance, and I've already said that our squad isn't full of saints, but I'm quite surprised at how many people are simply ignoring those issues or pretending they don't exist.

Was he convicted of drink driving?
As others have pointed out, we have our own young men at the club who have erred, so this idea that we are somehow paragons of virtue doesn’t really wash.

A couple of issues over the past 5 years is hardly "hell raising". Give him a break, there's a lot of talented sportsmen that had flaws, it's part of their make up.

Nah. I'm sorry but that is just so disrespectful to the players currently in our squad.

Also how does he suit our team and business model? He's been pictured crashing his Range Rover whilst drunk and having selfies taken with naked ladies of the night. That behaviour absolutely does not fit with our club.

Even his numbers are a joke in comparison to guys like Mahrez, Sterling, et al. Absolute joke.

Again, don't get me wrong, Grealish has got talent, plenty of it. But we're a long way from "he's THE signing". He'd be potentially third or fourth choice in whichever position he came in to play at city.
Sorry, but you talk as if all our players are or have been angels, which you will know isn't the case
