I suspect you're right,but it would not prevent me trying!

Either way,if we can sell them on,wherever that may be,we free up a wage for a more suitable and effective alternative.
 
that bad arsenal team took our pants down in the fa cup. Jack is playing with championship level players and running games every week.
We haven’t got one player in the squad that controls the game like he does , this is why we never kick on after a league title , we stay the same level then decline . Because we don’t buy the best available players.

Grealish would be our best player

That may or may not be true,but,either way,it doesn't apply to Grealish as he's been tearing every team Villa have faced a new arsehole.He was also MOTM for England.

He's been amongst the leagues best players.

I’d still be tempted to stick him in the middle next to Rodri, haha. I can’t help but think he’d be class bringing the ball forward for Foden, KDB, etc.

It would be a shame to detract from his attacking threat,but i think he'd be an amazing Deep lying midfielder.
 
Pointless to even debate his purchase on here for one reason only:

Villa will ask for crazy money. He just signed a new deal so has priced himself out of a move. £80m+ will be the required figure and I just can’t see us paying that.

Zaha did the same recently, signed a new deal and Palace asked for crazy money as he is their best player by far. Many clubs were interested but no one bought him.

Omg stop all this nonsense talk. He is not a better dribbler than mahrez, he just has more space to attack in that villa team, if he joins us it would be the same thing as mahrez because teams would inevitably park the bus and there would be no space for him to attack except if he dribbles past 2-4 defenders at once.

Yes compare him to Mahrez. Of all quality players we have, you manage to pick out Mahrez for comparison.

You haven't watched him enough.
He isn't a one trick pony,like Mahrez,and can go past people for fun,either while running with the ball,or from a standing start.He also has great strength and holds the ball up brilliantly.He is probably the most naturally gifted footballer since Gazza.

I doubt that he is as brainless as Mahrez clearly is though. How he continues to make the same mistakes over and over again just demonstrates how fucking predictable that he is , and therfore easy to take out of a game.

But he is not more naturally gifted than mahrez, didn’t mahrez get past people for fun in leicester.

When there is a wall of 5 players ahead of him, what do you expect him to do. Was mahrez not good at 1v1 last season when we managed to isolate him with a left back last season.

He's as thick as shit and never tries to do anything different . A fucking dream for defenders to deal with.

If he doesn't run straight into them, he just loses the ball . A predictable passenger with little or no threat. Waste of a team place .
