I think so,hoping its more than an admiration though.

He said on the video (below) that we admire him but we he wasn't on the agenda this past Summer but did mention that a lot of clubs were put off by the asking price due to Covid etc.

I'm the same as you, hope we act on it personally. Playing with KDB would give us the edge considering how often Grealish publicly admires him in interviews.

In terms of the impact he would have, and the statement of intent it would make,i genuinely can't think of a better signing.Of course he will cost....but the investment would ensure we get the best of a player who can change games, for many years.

He'd be worth every penny.

Would rather we spend money on a quality long term player like Grealish.

Than an expensive short term Messi sticking plaster.

11/12 Nasri was very good indeed, popped up with some big goals. But as for the rest.... not to sure
13/14 was his best season imo, the following two seasons most of our key players declined for a bit, except maybe Aguero.

Dont get me wrong, he could and should have been ever better for us, however his impact on the team and how we played was far greater than Mahrez's will ever be

Absolutely shits on Mahrez.

Not even in the same universe, the two.

We should be buying Grealish. He is exactly what Pep looks for in a player.

Quick, confident on the ball, versatile, technically very good and hardworking.

He could play centrally and take some pressure off De Bruyne. Or he could play wide and provide an improvement there.

Buying Grealish also gives time for Foden to really get to that consistent level we need to see. Build experience and confidence. Foden is a better player im terms of raw talent, vision and end product but Grealish isn't far off and right now is showing the confidence that he can play at the top level.
