Yeah I’m exaggerating he’s not that slow but he’s not very quick. Which, again, is fine.Slower than Rodri hahahahhaahahahah
really not seeing the "goes down too easily" thing here - he is fouled a lot because he dribbles a lot and hard to take the ball from.Seems like an inhumanly good player.
Fair enough if you want to think like that. But if our players are lacking in bravery it's almost certainly due to one of the most risk-averse possession-heavy philosophy managers in the world telling them not to be too direct for the sake of it.This is nonsense, they simply don't see the possibilities or are not brave enough to try. We need more "balls" players and hopefully Grealish will be one of them.
Funnily enough given how much I just complained about watching too much football I got on the Grealish is really, really good hype train during project restart when I saw a lot of Villa games.
Until we heard Bernardo was going though, I didn't want or really think it would happen as I didn't see the role he would have in the squad. Between Bernardo and Mahrez I think we cover everything Grealish can bring to a side, but now Bernardo seems to be on his way out it makes complete sense.
I also think Pep's going to make him a number 8.
Originally watched him at Ashton and amazed he actually played for us. 11 appearances and 2 goals and ended up back at Ashton. 17 in 47 for Stockport. My username is after my dad shouting ‘Come on Barney’ in one of his appearances when he scored against I think it was Leicester, maybe two. From Barney to Aguero and now maybe Kane totally unreal!Barney Daniels Walks on Water......
Sang by County fans after he scored 4 (might even have. been 5) in one match I think.....
I was only a nipper, so could be wrong,
Both are worth what a buying club are willing to pay. I'm getting a bit sick of people going on about Bernardo's valuation as if they know what it actually is. If he's unhappy and desperately wants to leave should we price him out of a move? Or should we show a bit of compassion and grant him a move at a reasonable price, after the service he's given? We tend to treat our players well, I hope that continues.
Yes, I think an 8 too. Left of a front 3 makes less sense considering we have Foden, Sterling, Torres and Jesus to play there.Funnily enough given how much I just complained about watching too much football I got on the Grealish is really, really good hype train during project restart when I saw a lot of Villa games.

How is Grealish not half as good as Bernardo? It’s going to be fun seeing the general consensus change next season when Grealish becomes an untouchable in our team. Not really.
Player value determined by two major factors, the quality of the player + the length of his contract.
IF the player become unhappy, that doesn't mean his value should drop couple millions.
Grealish is not half as good as Bernardo, so buying him to replace Bernardo will be another crime from the 3 amigos ( Pep, Txiki & Ferran ).
