Good to see him at his orchestrating and dictating best against Burnley

Different type of players. Grealish is proper City type player for me. If you see what he does for Villa, and then think how much better he could be with Peps influence and far better players around him. He could be a great player for us. He's so dangerous on the ball.

Grealish is a must signing. I would sign him above anyone else in the Premiership.

I wouldn’t say no to him but I reckon there are others I would sooner have if the choice was unlimited (forwards)
It seems to flirt with us so it depends on price I guess and it also looks like he is ready to move this year
We need a striker first definitely
 
my only caveat is we look a lot better balanced with Foden wide left so I wouldn't have a spot for him there, and Gundogan is doing the Grealish role for us at the moment with aplomb so there isn't really room for him. 3 months ago I'd have said yes to replace Ilkay but the spot has gone now.

My mate is a Villa fan, and he's gobsmacked that he's still there, said he's been a difficult class for a few seasons now and that he's just getting better. 6 goals and 8 assists (14) in 18 games, is nearly as good as KDBs contribution for us.
I'd be happy if we signed him and another goalscoring forward, preferably Haaland or Mbappe, Messi too.

I'd only sign him to play a forward role, like Foden, Sterling, Torres and Mahrez.

He could be cover for the midfield as needed but its up front that we need players who can strike a ball, interact with teammates effectively and make good decisions.
 
From everything I've read so far it looks like: Striker, Cm/Dm (Dinho replacement) and a Left-back are the targets/priorities.

Grealish doesn't fit any of those categories. So i'm unsure we are even looking at Grealish. Unless we are looking at another forward/attacking midfielder on top of those 3 targets.

I think they have similarities in the same way Bernardo and David Silva have similarities but what they offer can be completely different.

Grealish is a lot stronger than Phil largely due to his age and experience at the higher level but I'd say Phil's a better finisher than Grealish and their technique, passing, dribbling is pretty similar. The ceiling is higher for Phil undoubtedly but I think Grealish would be a fantastic signing for us. He could play anywhere from CM to the forward positions.

Imagine having an interchangeable four of Gundogan, Grealish, Foden and De Bruyne. It would be insane. Pace, power, creativity and flair. Plus an end product.

He would be a luxury player though and an expensive one at that. There's no need for him in the squad and we have other positions you'd expect us to prioritise. But I'd love to see him at City.
 
Strikes me as a complete ponce. Yes he can clearly play but it's all about look at him rather than look at the team. The way he has his hair, his undersize shorts and his inability to put his socks on correctly tell you everything you need to know. Add in his stupidity away from football then it's clear to see he's a glove fit for United.
