Decent player but too similar to what we already have in my opinion. He'd be competing with Foden, Bernardo, KDB and Gundogan, so wouldnt be an upgrade worth the amount of money they would want.

He would not be good enough for us. Put Gundogan into the Villa team and and people would cream themselves over him. While here before current season he often was the scapegoat.

Last thing I want is to spunk 80-100m on Grealish.

Then go real and go big big and get a real world class player for 120-140m instead.

Heard all this tripe when we signed Barry and Milner

The difference is both Barry and Milner were reasonably priced and they both did help the team push on. Grealish won't and we are well covered in Grealish's best positions.

In Pep we trust.

If Pep thinks Grealish is good enough for this football club (I think he is) then we should trust him. Grealish is already a very good player albeit at Villa but I truly believe Pep will turn him into a quality player.
