Jack Grealish

Surprised people think that if Kane and Grealish come, that we can keep the squad satisfied without outgoings.

Aguero leaving almost doesn't count because he barely played this season, on top of that, outside of the starting 11, we still have on the bench next season (with Aguero gone):

Jesus, Sterling, Ferran + Delap and Palmer hanging about lately

Maybe if Dinho left, and Gundogan played as a 6, I could see it.

If only one of Kane or Grealish come, I could see it.

If both come? Somebody's definitely going, maybe eve2.

I think Carson will follow Kun out the door, that would free up a spot.

I'm on record as saying I personally don't see this transfer happening, at least not to the point that's it's done at this point, but should he sign it should be mandatory that he puts actual shin pads on and pull his socks up like a grown man
To be fair I’m not sure Grealish’s socks are much shorter than this blokes

I dont think there are many that believe that, but as fans is that our concern?

We are getting two players that improve the team, its over to Pep to sort who makes way or keep them happy.
I'm not saying many think that, but browsing this thread, it has come up a few times, hence the comment.

I mean, your second comment negates the entirety of alot of discussion on this thread, people are literally discussing who should make way for these players, why can't this be discussed or cared about by fans? Obviously it's the managers problem to deal with.

If someone says I want these 5 world class players, and someone responds with "Who is going to go?", if the answer is "Not my problem, Pep should deal with it", there isn't any discussion to be had.

In a nutshell my only reservation about signing Grealish, because I rate him highly as a player. Pep has mentioned on numerous occasions the difficulty in squad management this season and that’s with no Aguero for most of it. Add Kane into that and Pep’s going to be upsetting some top quality players as it is, signing Grealish as well seems unlikely to me for that reason.
The only oversight I can see is that we may want to sell A player. The reasoning is sound but if we win the European cup some players may want to leave. I have a funny feeling someone who we don’t expect will be sold.

I think it’s quite likely Phil moves central next season which frees up space for a signing like this in addition to Kane & keeps everybody on their toes. There won’t be enough football to keep everybody happy but that’s kind of what you want following success. The strongest survive.

why? just like, for what? is he going to displace foden and mahrez from the two wingers spots immediately? no, he'll have to prove himself. It's not a position with an obvious hole in the team currently. It's not yesteryear's CB where we absolutely NEEDED someone there whatever the price, and it's not the striker position that's bagging for someone for that price. this would genuinely be a stupid price to pay.

I'd also like to point out that jack grealish is 25 and has had one good PL season basically, one where he was injured for large parts of it.

Doesn't Grealish have a release clause? Either way I think he's a fantastic player and would be an excellent signing. The numbers might not be great, but he brings so much creativity and guile. I think he has the attributes to do what Gundo and Bernardo do.

I do think someone will be squeezed and my guess is it'll be Jesus. He's the only player who hasn't improved under Pep and I think it's time to move him on.

Here is the article for anyone interested. Also mentions we want Kane for 150 mil. Not sure I believe the fees quoted but if we signed both grealish and Kane then just wow.
