Jack Grealish

Apples and oranges.

Arsenal are a club that are sinking and badly need to turn things around. They're desperate to improve their defence, which is very shaky. They've got a young manager at the moment who's at a crossroads in his tenure, so they either back him to swim or let him sink.

We're very stable at the moment, winning, and have a glut of attacking options in and around the positions Grealish can play - namely a budding superstar named P. Foden. I really don't think he's going to 'move the needle' much, given the level of first string talent we already have. 100m in this market, for that position, is the type of money that should you get you a player who comes right in and grabs everything by the balls, automatic starter, changes the whole dynamic. I just don't see it. He'll be lucky to start the big games tbh.

In any case, the reaction of fans on here is completely predictable when the club gets called out for this of thing, so whatever. If we land Grealish but don't land a quality striker, supporters will be pissed.
So what you are saying is teams only spend £100m on an automatic starter. Like when Barca spent £135m on Dembele 4 years ago.....

Im assuming you are the sort of person who watches Bargain Hunt and says '£17 on a vase, that's too much for me'

Don't even get me started on my views on Tiffany, as a lad.

The last thing on my mind is thinking about what the media ad other fans think of City. Blow them out of the water and do what they've accused us of all these years.

Yes fuck them!! Where were all these bleeding hearts when the rags were signing Ferdinand for 30+ million years ago? Robson, Moses, Pallister, Rooney, where was the crying it wasn't fair then?

If I am Levy, I would set Kane's price at 180m and have Grealish at 100m be the reason for it.

Lets be honest when you see a club paying 100m for Grealish, then same clubs ask you to give up on Kane for 110m its kind of like someone would offer 50m for Maddison from Leicester and would expect us to accept 60m for Kevin De Bruyne.

I’m the last person who is bothered about getting abuse, it’s water off a ducks back for me mate, what’s up saying we paid too much for Grealish ? nothing, it’s a forum after all.
Nothing wrong with that all.
I’m torn on Grealish.
First there’s the hair - not a deal breaker and just me being a twat
Then there’s his little shin pads - thought it was me being a twat again till I read that he’s always got shin injuries, so he’s a twat.
He’s a very good player, but fuck me he’s a diving mard arse play acting fanny.
Add to that I’m not sure we need him, though if Bernardo leaves then I can see why.
I do think he’d be a good fit though.
As for the price I’d have said £70-80m was about right, but what do I know.
I get this deal, but don’t get the Kane deal.
All of course in my humble opinion ; )

Levy can’t keep Kane when he doesn’t want to be there. Gone too far now he has to sell him for what he’s worth or have a player who is unhappy. Kane will leave Spurs now. I reckon we’ll get him for 120 million ish not 180 not going to price him out the market to keep a player who clearly wants to move
