Seems like it,he’s gone tough luck we move on good luck to the lad,but if he had left any other team ie rags,Chelsea or scousers you can bet the coverage he gets would be nowhere near it is now a good part of it is about sticking it to city..

He's a player of interest in the media not just to have a go at City but because he's now an England player.

Actually if there is any blame at our club for losing him, it needs to be pointed at our owner because that is where the pressure is coming from for City to win major honours preventing Pep to guarantee him first team games.

It’s not to have a go at city full stop. As you say, he’s an England player. If Harry Winks does the same, same as if Rashford did, it’d be the same.

Yep he is good enough and Pep telling him he be part of our squad like Foden is wasnt good enough for him because he saw Sane and Sterling fair dos to the lad leaving abd ripping up the german league sat top of the table! On hindsight when we didnt get Sanchez we shouldnt of bothered going after Mahrez and told the lad he will be playing a lot on the right for us. That still might not of been good enough for him though. Can see him going to one of the big spanish teams in 18 months if he keeps this form up for mega money.

Maybe true, but Mahrez is a big asset imo & a good signing.

But the main problem is not because of Sane & Sterling or Mahrez imo.

It's because of all the talented kids he watched, when he was below them, never getting even a sniff of the first team. Pep can say "it's all going to change under me" but he looks at what we actually do, rather than what we say we will do, he & his advisors have a decision to make. take Pep at his word, or Dortmund.

I'd have chosen Dortmund.

Not because I don't trust Pep's intentions, but 1st because of the way the club, has operated in the past & 2nd because of the competition for places.

Pep is repairing that, particularly by playing Garcia, at his age. If he keeps pulling selections like that out of the bag, it will change the perception of the club.

Frankly, unless our youngsters show immediate extra talent how can Pep stop the sell on process?
The young players we bought and developed had shown their quality at top level elsewhere so were bought.
As you mention any aspiring young player must go and good luck to those who are right and succeed but our 1st team is becoming increasingly better season on season.

The young right back Bolton who did well for us when played should of be an option when Danilo was inured and Walker needing a rest we played Stones on the right instead, for one of games we should be using our academy.

Absolutely spot on,that young lad Bolton looked fantastic in pre season ( yes it’s only pre season ) but then we hear nothing of him,is he even still at the club ..

Bolton has been injured for quite a few games this season and has hardly played right back, might be an option against Rotherham.

I think Pep wanted Mahrez regardless of Sancho being at the club or not.
He’d be on the fringes just like Foden and Diaz.
