Jamal Musiala

Often, we do not appreciate what we have.
Phil Foden is probably the premier attacking midfield talent in world football. He plays for the leading club in what is often described as the most competitive league in world football.
He plays against low-block, ultra-defensive set-ups most weeks - space is very difficult to find - yet he holds six league titles at the age of 23. It is NOT A GIVEN that players like Wirtz and Musiala, who play a different brand of football in a different league, will be as successful as he is.

The loss of Rodri, Bobb, and DeBruyne is significant in terms of the creativity loss - this is not the time to judge. Let's just keep picking up the points until some of those players return, no matter how those points come.

Great player but a long way to go before he is the above and his form so far this season is shocking.

Foden needs to be more arrogant and believe he is the best player on the pitch for me.
Not sure about arrogant but maybe just make games his, to be fair he was doing that last season, but had a shocking Euro's and start to the season.

Just hope he is no believing his own hype.

Who is ahead of him? He's the player of the season in the Premier League. His form is temporary, of course.
It's irrelevant who is ahead of him when he can't make our starting 11 this season and that's without KDB.

Something's gone on, normal service needs to resume and quickly.

IF Musiala is staying at Bayern, will they want or be able to afford Wirtz?
They can afford Wirtz. Muller's tenure is probably coming to an end in a few months. Wirtz would be the statement signing they would probably target and want.

We are on the same page - the loss of form is temporary, whatever its cause, and Pep is not one for excusing everything. I'm sure (hopeful) things will return soon.

I would imagine we won't be afraid to go in hard on Wirtz, maybe go in like the old days and just pay what's required.

Rodrygo could also be an option.
