With Foden- I honestly didn't. His talent was just that obvious even in his hand full of cameos in 17/18. Admittedly, I probably haven't seen enough of Mcatee play to say a loan would be smarter or not. Fingers crossed!

I saw a lot of Foden before he became a regular first team, and in the intervening period I would say he is now twice the player he was. I think Palmer and McAtee will do the same. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder put pen to paper on a new three-year deal today that will extend his stay at the Club through to 2026.
One of the most highly regarded players to have emerged from our Academy over the past few years, McAtee made his senior City debut in September of last year in our 6-1 Carabao Cup win at home to Wycombe.
